LGBTQ Care at Cooley Dickinson

Mammography Assessment Project for Cooley Dickinson

Cooley Dickinson Hospital is recruiting people who identify as lesbian, queer women, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and/or transgender to participate in focus groups. The purpose of the focus groups is to identify barriers to getting mammograms and to get input on breast cancer screening outreach efforts.

Cooley Dickinson Hospital will use this information in the development of inclusive outreach campaigns, and in providing better supports for mammography screening. We are looking for participants who are over the age of 40 or people who have already had a screening mammogram before the age of 40. Participants can be either AFAB or AMAB (assigned female or assigned male at birth).

All information shared will be confidential.

  1. To whom it may concern,
My name is Ali Haqq; I am the new president of Springfield, Ma Pride. My reason for this e-mail is on Saturday, August 15th, 2020, the Springfield Pride Committee is putting together a Transgender walk. We are looking for Organizations that wouldn’t mind walking in solidarity to honor the Transgender community whose lives were lost. I want to know if this would be of interest to your team?
    Thank You!
