INSIDE STORY: Cooley Dickinson General Surgical Care Debuts new Video Series

Cooley Dickinson General Surgical Care is excited to announce the premiere of a new educational video series, INSIDE STORY. The series will demonstrate various common surgical procedures through narrated HD videos taken directly from internal surgical cameras. The videos are intended to educate prospective patients, students and anyone else who is curious about how these procedures are done. They contain graphic medical content, so anyone uncomfortable viewing images of surgery is advised not to view them.

Debuting the series is this video of a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) from the inside of the abdominal cavity, as performed by Dr. Michelle Helms of Cooley Dickinson General Surgical Care. The procedure is narrated by Nurse-Anesthetist John Noviello.
