Congratulations to Azure Layton, MSN, RN, CEN, nurse manager, Emergency Department, and Ann Lebrun, DNP, RN, clinical nursing director, inpatient services, and our colleagues across the Mass General Brigham system who were recognized in Sunday’s Boston Globe Salute to Nurses.
Azure was nominated for being “a safety advocate, a confidante engaged in workflow and a pleasant leader.”
Ann’s nominator noted that she does what it takes to keep the “nursing floors running smoothly — coming in at all hours of the night to take over for sick nurses/supervisors, taking on full assignments in a critical nursing shortage, and just being available for her staff and their needs.”
