Organ Transplant Evaluation
Cooley Dickinson now offers regular monthly transplant evaluation clinics for patients who may be candidates for liver or kidney transplants. Evaluations are performed by providers from the Mass General Hospital Transplant Center; patients who qualify as candidates can access one of the most experienced transplant centers in New England. Those facing diagnoses of cirrhosis, liver cancer, advanced hepatitis, fatty liver disease or end-stage renal disease are encouraged to be evaluated.

Maternal Fetal Medicine
For pregnant women with complex conditions (obstetrical risk factors due to age, family history, or previous medical concerns) Cooley Dickinson Women’s Health is able to access to Mass General maternal fetal medicine specialists who patients can see at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. Maternal fetal medicine specialists also act as liaisons between Mass General’s and Cooley Dickinson’s obstetrical departments. As a leader in diagnostic ultrasound, Mass General was among New England’s first hospitals to offer first-trimester screening for Down syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities.
