Biography
Born in Evanston, Illinois, Dr. Serlin graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, summa cum laude, and remained at Wash U for medical school, graduating as a member of the medical honor society AOA. He completed his Internship, Residency and was Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then moved to Boston University Medical Center for his fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at BU. Dr. Serlin joined the staff at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in the summer of 2006 as an Intensivist, Pulmonologist and Allergy/Immunologist as well as co-director of the Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Serlin and his wife Becky (a native of Northampton), along with their three daughters, Tali, Mira and Dani, enjoy their home in the Pioneer Valley and being part of the Cooley Dickinson community.
