My Philosophy
As a general endocrinologist I manage all adult endocrine disorders involving multiple glands including the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, adrenal, ovaries, testicles, and bone metabolism. Dysfunction of these glands result in metabolic disorders such as obesity, acromegaly, hyperprolactinemia, hyper/hypothyroidism, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, adrenal insufficiency, adrenal tumors (Cushing’s syndrome, hyperaldosteronism, pheochromocytoma), hyper/hypoparathyroidism, diabetes, hypoglycemia, polycystic ovarian syndrome, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, low testosterone, hyper/hypocalcemia, and osteoporosis. I especially enjoy diabetes management, calcium metabolism and doing thyroid biopsies but am proficient in all the areas aforementioned.
