About our Speakers:

Dr. Eric Granowitz, who joined Cooley Dickinson Hospital in 2018, is a MA licensed infectious disease physician. He received his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, did his residency at Barnes Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, and completed a fellowship at the Division of Geographic Medicine and Infectious Diseases, New England Medical Center, and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Granowitz stayed on faculty at Tufts for 30 years, including as an Associate Professor of Medicine. His philosophy is that “I appreciate the opportunities my patients give me to care for them and help them feel better.” When not practicing medicine, Dr. Granowitz enjoys spending time with his family, celebrating holidays, running, hiking, and reading.

Attorney Hyman Darling, chair of the estate planning and elder law department at Bacon/Wilson P.C., is an attorney with extensive experience with all aspects of estate planning, including trusts, tax law, probate and estates, guardianships, special needs trusts and planning, elder law, and long-term care planning. When not practicing law, Hyman enjoys skiing, water skiing, and spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren.

The Cooley Dickinson Development Office works collaboratively and creatively with our community to share ways to support our community hospital, including immediate donations, gifts through will or trust, and gifts that can pay an income for life.
