Cooley Dickinson offers Anticoagulation/Coumadin Clinics in Amherst, Northampton, and to help you and your physician monitor the effect of Coumadin (warfarin), a blood thinner. This medication is prescribed to prevent and treat blood clots.

With a physician’s referral, you’ll have access to convenient appointments and immediate test results/instructions. Our clinic staff works with cardiologists from Hampshire Cardiovascular Associates. In the clinic, our experienced registered nurses perform finger-stick blood tests and interpret the results, adjust your dosage as needed and provide education about interactions with diet and other medications, and communicate with your physician about your results.
